Flying to Marathon, FL

For guests flying in, the closest major airport is Miami International Airport (MIA), approximately 2.5 hours away by car. Alternatively, you can fly into Key West International Airport (EYW), which is about an hour’s drive from Marathon. Both airports offer rental car services, shuttle buses, and taxis.

Driving to Marathon, FL

From Miami International Airport (MIA):

  1. Head west on NW 21st St.
  2. Take the ramp to FL-836 W.
  3. Merge onto FL-836 W.
  4. Use the right lanes to take the FL-826 S/Florida’s Turnpike S ramp.
  5. Merge onto FL-826 S.
  6. Use the left 3 lanes to take the exit toward Florida’s Turnpike S.
  7. Merge onto Florida’s Turnpike.
  8. Continue on US-1 S to Marathon.

From Key West International Airport (EYW):

  1. Head northeast on Faraldo Cir.
  2. Turn right onto S Roosevelt Blvd.
  3. Continue onto US-1 N.
  4. Follow US-1 N to Marathon.

Bus to Marathon, FL

Greyhound and other bus services offer routes to Marathon from major cities in Florida. The Marathon bus stop is centrally located, and you can use local transportation services to reach your rental.
